ROBERTSDALE, Ala. (Sept. 9, 2016) -- Bay Wood Products, Inc., one of the largest single-site manufacturers of wooden pallets in Alabama and Mississippi, is pleased to announce the addition of Chris Patillo as Facility Manager for the 130-employee business in Baldwin County.
Patillo, already on the job, is responsible for ensuring that all equipment is running at peak performance so orders can be completed safely and on time. He also has been tasked with establishing and building a preventive maintenance program for the business.
“Chris is already doing a great job managing our plant,” said Bay Wood Products President, and Founder, Jimmy Wilson. “His attention to detail and strong worth ethic make him a great fit for our management and plant teams.”
Chris said the opportunity to make a positive impact at a well-established manufacturing business drew him to the company. “I really enjoy working for and with the people of Bay Wood,” he said. “Everyone is very knowledgeable and not afraid to get their hands dirty, when needed, and work hard to achieve the same goal.”
Patillo is a graduate of George Stone Technical College and holds a journeyman electrical license. He and his wife, Jessica, have two children. They live in Cantonment, Fla.
Founded 22 years ago, Bay Wood products recently expanded its leadership team as the company continues to experience increased demand for its products. A new plant addition, dedicated to custom hand-built wooden pallets, is expected to be complete by December 2016.
